• Register for an account using your phone number
• Create and manage events
• Add guests, budget items, pledges, and expenditures
• Complete your profile (name, email, location)

We also collect:

• Phone number — for account authentication via OTP
• Device information — device type, operating system, app version
• Usage data — features used, pages viewed, actions taken
• Camera access — only when scanning guest QR codes at the gate

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your Embagga account
• To provide event planning and management features
• To send OTP verification codes via SMS
• To generate event reports and analytics
• To improve our services and user experience
• To communicate with you about your account or events

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:

• Firebase (Google) — for authentication and notifications
• Supabase — for secure database storage
• Service providers who assist in our operations, under strict confidentiality agreements
• Law enforcement when required by law

4. Event Data

Event data (guest lists, budgets, schedules, expenditures) belongs to the event organiser. We process this data only to provide the Embagga service. Guest information added by organisers is stored securely and used only for event management purposes.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• End-to-end encryption for data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure cloud storage with access controls
• Phone number verification for all accounts
• Regular security audits

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the app settings or by contacting us at the email below.

You have the right to:

8. Children's Privacy

Embagga is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, via in-app notification.
